HOA rules and moving windows
Mueller's homeowners association sets rules on truck parking, moving hours, and sometimes which streets a large vehicle can use. We ask new customers to check with the HOA early and pass any requirements on to us before the day.
Because the neighborhood is walkable and dense by design, a truck left in the wrong spot can block a shared alley or a neighbor's driveway, so we plan the exact parking spot in advance.
Mixed housing types
Mueller has single family homes, townhomes, and apartment buildings within a few blocks of each other, and our crews move between all three regularly. Townhomes often have narrow stairwells, which changes how furniture comes down and how many movers we put on the carry.
Apartment buildings in Mueller tend to have smaller elevators than downtown towers, so oversized furniture sometimes has to go up the stairs instead, and we plan for that ahead of time.
Families moving in and growing families moving up
A lot of our Mueller work is families moving from a smaller unit into a bigger house nearby as they grow, which usually means a short local move with a lot of kids' furniture and a stroller or two. We treat those the same as any other job, just with an extra hand for the awkward, oddly shaped pieces.
Parks, trails, and truck routes
Mueller's central park and trail system are part of what draws people here, but they also mean the street grid loops in ways that are not always obvious to a driver who has never worked the neighborhood before. Our crews know the shortest legal route from the main road to most streets in the development.
Shared community spaces sometimes restrict where a large vehicle can idle, so we confirm the parking spot with you before the truck leaves the yard rather than figuring it out on arrival.
Live-work units and home offices
A number of Mueller residents run a small business or a home office out of a live-work unit, which usually means moving a mix of household items and office equipment such as monitors, filing cabinets, and inventory shelving in the same job. We keep the two separated in the truck so nothing personal ends up mixed in with stock or paperwork.
